HOW WE WORK

Primary research, corroborated, and delivered as an answer.

The same method runs across every industry we serve. What changes is who we talk to and which functions we map.

THE METHOD

Researcher writing notes in a notebook

STEP 01

Start from the decision

Each engagement begins with the decision your team faces and the questions that would change it. How many account managers has a competitor added? Who leads its launch team? Which regions does it cover with specialists? We turn those into key intelligence questions and agree on them with you before any research starts.

STEP 02

Talk to the people who know

We interview former employees, customers, distributors and industry experts who have direct knowledge of the organization in question. Interviews are conducted by experienced researchers who identify themselves truthfully and never ask anyone to breach a confidentiality obligation.

STEP 03

Corroborate before reporting

No finding rests on a single source. Each headcount, reporting line and role is checked against independent interviews and public records such as job postings, filings and conference rosters. Where sources disagree, we say so and give a range rather than a false precise number.

STEP 04

Deliver what you can use

You receive org maps of the functions in scope and written answers to each question, with the confidence level and the type of source behind it. We walk your team through the results in a readout meeting and answer follow-up questions.

Legal and ethical guidelines

All research follows applicable law and accepted competitive intelligence ethics. We do not misrepresent who we are or solicit trade secrets or confidential documents. We never pay or reward the people we interview, whether in cash, gifts or anything of equivalent value. Interview subjects can decline any question. These rules bind every researcher and research partner on every engagement, and we confirm them in writing when a client asks.

START HERE

Every engagement starts with the question you need answered.

Tell us which competitors and which functions matter to the decision in front of you. We'll scope what can be mapped, how, and by when.
